The WRS Society evolved when it became apparent that

emergency preparedness could play a favorable role in

our community.

Members raised money to provide free CPR classes to residents,

and a weekly blood pressure clinic.

This was and still is our main objective.

Over time we found our efforts could be put to use in a few other

areas within the community and thus be became involved with the local

Emergency Social Services

in case of an emergency evacuation.

Then we found a need for local computer users and a

computer help group was formed.

Now we have added a page to the website to give a platform for

local crafters so they can inform you of their work and talents.
