Mick Cretney
Lead Vocals & Guitar

MICK CRETNEY:  Working as a professional musician for over 15 years, Mick is the consummate artist in that he keeps true to the art, foregoing the lure of the lucre. Translated: he loves playing good music in a good band, and is lucky to have found the combination of talent and enduring friendship in "Blue Healers".

Mick's influences include the greats such as Eric Clapton, Santana, Rolling Stones and of course Van Morrison.  In his own words, Mick says that "Music makes me feel good and express myself. I always get a kick out of people dancing and having a good time. No matter were you go people want to dance and be free!"

David Sopel
Bass Guitar & Vocals

DAVID SOPEL:  David has being playing Bass Guitar since 1975, staring with is brother in the band, "FLOODGATE". From that point on, only fame and fortune were left to achieve! Other bands David has graced include: Valhalla, Smokin' Gun, Entropy, Starfield, Colt 45, Spirit Village, The Noel Wentworth Band, and touring Western Canada with "The Dark" & "Dy Tryn'". To his resume, David has credits on many CDs with Jane Eamon, Gordon Brush, Entropy, Michael Cretney, Albert Bosch, Ryan Donn, and many others. While a virtuoso on the bass, he also plays Mandolin and rhythm guitar.

Bill Clarke
Keyboards, Vocals
& Rhythm Guitar

BILL CLARKE:  Born in the heartland of Alberta, Bill is a third-generation musician. Inspired by the musical talents of his grandfather, Ben George, our Bill spent many of his weekends as a small boy going to the cities and towns of the countryside, listening to his grandpa, and dancing with his grandma. Having taken a brief hiatus from performing to go to law school, he once again found his balance and joined up with "Blue Healers" to help entertain, and of course be entertained, because as Bill is often heard saying: "Life's too short!"

Some of his credits include jamming with Tommy Banks, and Heygood Hardy, while also playing with "Duct Tape", "Rock 'n' Horse", "Die Tryin", & "Trudy Jane and Ridn' Shotgun". Rumours also abound that he was lucky enough to jam with a member from Bon Jovi, Loverboy, and Eric Clapton's entourage...but you will have to ask him about that!
Robin "The Boss" Labossierre
Percussion & Vocals
Robin hails from Vancouver, B.C. (not Washington state) but hit the road at a young age when his parents bought him a drum kit and said 'beat it'--alas, the original Michael Jackson!

He has played and performed in numerous bands that no one has ever heard of, and watched countless others from the comfort of his couch.  Musical highlights of his very long career (not saying he is old) include a 4 city tour opening for mega-super-duper star "Michelle Wright".

From R&B to Jazz, Country to Funk, Robin has performed at some of the most renowned Ukrainian weddings, and cannot wait to perform for you (not necessarily a festive Ukrainian wedding...unless you pay him well and feed him perogies!)

Always a joker, Robin will be keeping The Blue Healers on their toes and hopefully on beat!
