I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff and volunteers
of the B.C. Interior Independent Living Resource Center for their
many hours of dedicated service to our community.
As Mayor, I am very aware of the vital role that the Independent
Living Resource Center plays for individuals with disabilities
in our community. By providing information and referral services,
peer support, empowerment skills and advocacy, they foster the
goals of independent living.
The Centre is an important organization which our community relies
